The Sea Ranch

The Sea Ranch is an extraordinary planned community of 2280 private building lots along the Sonoma Coast in Northern California. In 1965, noted landscape architect, Lawrence Halprin, designed the Master Plan by arranging clusters of home sites around open space or "Commons," to preserve large portions of the hillsides, meadows and blufftops from development. The architecture is inspired by the rural barns and natural building materials. It's a place where custom designed homes become part of nature's tapestry.
