I strive to create structures that fit naturally on their sites and meld with the surrounding landscape — the components of The Sea Ranch philosophy of Living Lightly on the Land. My designs evoke the strong agricultural building vernacular of the California north coast and blend views and siting so as to preserve the essential quality of a place and yet allow people to live the way they want to live.
